    so shortly after I made this proclamation of his character I fed him. upon returning him to his viv from feeding he decided to contradict every nice word I had said so the tank got a small re scape. and he stuck around to investigate.

    So can anyone help with the id of this cricket. it is not a pinhead. that is fully grown, and for reference those whitish balls are terrarium grass seeds. they were about the size of springtails when I first noticed them. there are about 3-4 of them in the tank and I really have no clue where they came from since everything down to the sand and wood was boiled and baked. the plants were washed transplanted and quarantined for a month. I am assuming they snuck in the with some of the clean up crew since I did source it from 3 different sources. I want more of them. they sing. and it doesn't sound like normal ol chirp chirp crickets. more like a long trill note that isn't as loud either. it sounds nice.
