Sorry but it is likely someone has been fibbing to you - at 4-5 foot long she is probably at least 3 years old if not older. :oops:
Good point. If she's really pushing 5 feet, she's an adult.

Thanks for all your suggestions people! I went out and bought a thermostat, a second cave hide, an electronic thermometer, and a jungle background for the walls of the terrarium. The temps now no longer get too hot with the air temps hovering between 26C - 31C and humidity is always around 50-70%. Sombra seems happy as she took to her second rat this weekend.
