Ooo sushi, I’ve seen your thread and actually think I posted on it! Don’t know why I didn’t put two and two together. His pinks and oranges are awesome, hopefully it stays with him into adulthood. Good luck with the feeding.

Khaleesi is gorgeous and I love her name! Thank you for sharing such helpful information. She looks (to my fairly untrained eye, ha) to be a healthy girth for her length. I can't wait for Memphis to start gaining in size, but also slow and steady... She just took her 2nd F/T rat pup with us, so we are 2 for 2 on meals so far. :)

I look forward to following along and seeing her updates!

Congrats on the successful feeding! Yea they hit so hard!! Dumerils have a very slow metabolism, even more so then bci boas so I like to give a good amount of time to let her digest. Cause she only eats every 14 days it gives me plenty of time to handle her after the 4 days. I noticed that my girl stays buried after she eats and when shes done digesting she comes out and chills. This process usually takes 3-4 days.

Thank you for the kind words and congrats on the 2nd feeding! She got a little chunky in the beginning of the year and I got great advice from forum members here. I was feeding her every week which was two often, so I spaced her out to every 2 weeks and she slimed out within a month. I know a good number of people with dumerils and we all agree that once they feed a couple times in a row they never miss a meal, so ur on a great path!
