My first guess would be WT. However, if you told me it was a low quality Monarch I would believe you.
really? really? that is not a Monarch in any form. i think a low quality Monarch would look like an Ultramel.

yeah TBH it looks like a reduced but interesting browned out/greyed out Pastel (and not what it's supposed to be).

Yes can see where your coming from but comparing it to pics of browned out pastels it dont quiet match up and other than its got a pixelated look carnt see any enchi about it.If i did breed off it would it be best to put it to normal to prove it out or not bother at all.

Is there any posability the bloke i brought it off got his snakes mixed up and its got black pewter and not black pastel in it would explain the lighter washed out apperance

doubt it. doesn't look like a Black Pewter which is a Black Pastel x Pastel combo. i think it would be best to just follow-up w/ the breeder/seller directly and confirm the genetic pairing that produced it.
Re: Normal or something else
Will do though he said it was out of black pastel x enchi when i brought it but as you say it dont look like one im new to them so not up on them nearest pic i can find to it was a black pastel enchi ghost and seen a few pics of browned out pastels similar my snake has brown eyes thought pastels were greenish or can they vary.
