Question about feeding.

Its been rough but managing atm. Thanks for asking and the help as well. Just trying to do my best for the snake since i went from knowing nothing to trying and figuring everything out

It's generally better to feed only one food item at a time to snakes; sometimes that second one will mess up the digestion and cause a regurgitation, especially if
there is a little time between the 2 items. If you feel like a meal is too small, it's better to just feed a little bigger next time, OR, move the next feeding up by a
day or 2, but ONLY if you're sure the prior meal is digested and the snake is actually showing signs of hunger. It's usually easier to over-feed snakes than it is to
get them to lose weight, if they pack on too much; they are healthier when on the lean side rather than on the hefty side, especially for a male snake (since they
aren't going to use up the "excess" by producing eggs). Realistically, don't worry about a slightly small meal...our pets eat far more than most snakes in the
wild do.

A) so sorry for your loss.
B) one small every 7 days is fine.
C) good on you for stepping up and taking on the challenge of a new animal. Keep reading, keep asking questions, keep learning. The snake already seems to be in good hands with you. I'm sure the departed is looking down happily knowing the snake is in good hands.
