    Like handling a racer-type snake: they want to keep moving thru one hand after another, but if your hand tightens around them (if you "put the brakes on"), they panic
    & defend themselves with a nip so you let go. Actually, my large Korean rat snake is the same way...like a racer, not a rat snake. Guess he didn't "read the manual"?
