We have large birds of prey as well. They like to circle over the neighborhood at times. I never leave the animals unattended and the birds aren't brave enough to snatched them away right next to a person. I do worry about the Chihuahuas though. That's why I'm outside if they are. Unless it's dark.

It's still too cool (although today hit 90 in Boston) to do any swimming around here, and your pool always makes me so jealous. I need to move further south, ugggh...

I worry about that too, so when I'm outside the snakes are never more than a foot or two away.
This area has tons of hawks, there's a golf course just a few miles down the road called Red Tail named after the hawks in the area.

Trust me, I'm not getting into that pool yet, either !!

I like the water when it is really warm. We've still had cold snaps until recently, so it will be a while until that water is truly warm. But I do like the look and ambiance of the pool. The ones using it most is actually family that comes to visit, LOL.
