    Our sterlites have good lids but as they open on both ends independently I have weights on the tubs till my dearest husband gets his butt to Home Depot LOL.

    I use note book type clips. They look like what is in a trapper keeper to hold your paper, I use smaller ones found at staples, but most certainly you can get them elsewhere. Drill a hole just enough for them and clip them on the edge of the lid where it seems a bit loose fitting.
