Just one question: why on earth is she being fed on a carpet floor in the middle of a room?

I would just be concerned about a regurge or getting tagged putting the snake back.

Yay little girl! Glad her deformed tongue can now be more of a quirk than a problem.

He's read some people say take them out and put them in a box to eat. She FREAKS when he tried that one time. Never again.
Others say leave them in their enclosure, yet others say if you leave them in their enclosure they may see your hand as food every time you put your hand in there (with or without food) and strike at your hand.
I'm working on him.

I have fed all of my snakes in their enclosures for all the years I've been keeping snakes. Never once have I been struck at INSIDE the enclosure.
Basically the whole seperate feeding tub theory has been put to rest and proven counter productive over time.
