Easa is coming along quite well now. We have her temps and humudity up, and she is getting used to being handled. We only hold her for 1-3 minutes at a time before she gets feisty. Shannon says she does best when she is sleeping. Easa will kind of wake up slowly and beheld before she realizes shes been had. Then she wants to be let go. Easa does however like to watch TV and responds well to calm soothing voices.

A comment on your issue with UVB...you don't yet have it, and thats probably the most important part of his care.

I would highly recommend buying a ballasted incandescent bulb (PowerSun, etc), they are not the flourescent type UVB bulbs (such as Zoo-Med Desert Sun 8.0, etc) which are the tubular type and dont give off any heat.

These bulbs fit into a normal incandescent fixture, which is cheaper than the fixture for flourescent bulbs.

They do, however, cost about $40 a bulb. These are still a better way to go than flourescent bulbs. They last for up to 3 years. A flourescent bulb, costing about $18 a piece, will lost its effectiveness after 6 months. In the long run, its much cheaper to use these bulbs and they put out wayyy more UVB.
