    Bond, Trust = contented animal.

Byron my beloved BP will come to me by not only coming up to the viv door, but also when he's out of the viv. If he's sitting with my husband (who handles the snakes about the same as I do), he'll come over to me, slither up me and settle round my neck - usually with his head on my shoulder and seems quite content to sit there as long as he wants (or I put him back in the viv). He eats well, sheds well and is...well...to me anyway the most beautiful BP ever (I know. I'm biased LOL).

Earlier on this week I had a splitting headache all day that even aspirins weren't getting rid of it properly for me. I had a job interview and I think I was REALLY stressed out. Anyway, I had to change the substrate in the viv (won't let my snakes sit in a dirty viv) so had them out. Graham was snake-sitting Bobby my other BP and Byron was sitting on me. I know this is probably only coincidental, but for some reason, Byron sat with the fattest part of his body round the back of my neck and, although he didn't move anywhere, just kept massaging the back of my neck. He does sometimes do this, but not quite so firm. For two pins (English expression) I'd swear he knew I wasn't feeling 100%. I've had him out several times since, including tonight and he was just content to sit on my shoulders like he always does. He did a good job of getting rid of my headache:D Animals never cease to amaze me.

Here he is helping me at the computer:D

i know, these snakes seem to be the best to be around, my cleopatra seems to find me no matter where i am in the room or if my boyfreind is handling her she always seems to try to get back to me, i dont know if she finds comfort in me because i was the first to really handle her or whether i just like her around so much i imagine it but hey, either way no matter what ill still think shes the greatest!:) (to me anyways!:) )

Whether my BP likes me (I'd like to think he does) or not I think snakes are truly wonderful animals that give us so much back in their own special way. If I'm feeling stressed out my snakes have this wonderful way of making me feel very chilled and relaxed. That can only be good for my health;) :D

It is cute! It's pretty tough to capture a yawn with a camera.

yea, specially with the digital ones cos you think you have it cos you press the button on time but theres that slight delay that messes you over, so theyre done by the time the picture actually takes.oh well, i guess i still got a cute pic out of this one! my smiling bp!;)

As a contrast.. I accidentally took a pic of my male kenyan sand boa yawning. I didn't even know he was doing it until I saw the picture after it was taken!

    I was pleased. :)

ok that is too cute. I'm an LVT and whenever I have a stressed assistant working under me they get a time out to go into boarding and sit and play with the cats to destress. I'm a total believer of them lowering blood pressure and their demeaner of 'you just got to slow down a bit and love on me, you will feel so much better'. :)
