Welcome to the wonderful world of snake keeping! You have quite the cute little one as well, reminds me a lot of Paarthurnax!

Two things I would add, which have already been said, is a thermostat (Not optional!) and switching out the aspen. I dont want to beat a dead horse here but, they both should be done. Snake burns are a terrible thing, and something no owner should ever risk. Personally my snake is in a tub setup with paper towels as his substrate, but ive heard any coconut fiber bedding like Reptiprime are usually really good for helping with humidity in the tank! I would say raise the humidity to 60, 70 for when the little one is in shed. Hope you enjoy your time with your new snake!

I would also add you don't need that much substrate in your enclosure. 1/2 inch max. Other than that everyone has great pointers for you. Great looking little noodle you have there.

Hey sorry I didn't respond right away I went into panic mode LOL but it's all good and I really do appreciate all the information! Some chipping away at the finer details, I've realized in order to utilize a thermostat I'm going to have to change my lighting and heating Arrangement so that's on the top of the to do list. I've dialed down the light wattages and am monitoring them now to see how they sit with my house. Fortunately my house maintains a pretty steady temperature but I am not disregarding the importance of an automated heating system by any means will be incorporating it shortly. I switched over to the Cypress and ran a thinner layer of substrate I also threw in some more foliage and a real hide Rock on the Basking side of the tank. I intend to use more vine type foliage to conceal the glass sides, will that be sufficient?

Also wanted to note that (s)he has eaten twice, once on day one and then a week later. Next feeding is Friday.
I never saw it eat the first mouse, but the last feeding was quick and immediate.
My concern is the snake has yet to poop or anthing that i have seen. I did a complete substrate change and found no signs of anything as i was emptying the tank. Ive read not to worry but it just seems odd to me.
Snake is active and appears to be happy and in good health but im counting the days.

Yeah, young bps tend to hold it a long time and then make huge poops half their own length.
