As most of you know, i usually keep a pretty minimalist set up. Well i decided to spice it up a little and see how the little cages would looks with silk vines plus the live plants. Looks decent imo. So now i need to get get a few for the big cages although i probably will be making a mistake with giving Caesar stuff although he has been a fairly good boy with his real plant. https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...3a01c7a5_h.jpg
Also broke down and got Dottie new XL hides on order. And if you look at the third cage down, you can see Dottie sneaking herself into the pic. She is such an explorer if you open the doors lol.
I love the direction you are going here. Looks great!

I think the cages looks great man.
As for the Caesar, maybe freestanding plants are a challenge but you can easily add green and vines without hassle. As you said, "reticproof" everything.
I'll bet you could slide a realistic perch a few inches out from the shelf if you wanted.
Honestly, my boa with his heavier body moves and ruins more. Wallace, even though he's the longest snake here, is still agile and lean and climbs well. http://i.imgur.com/nY0ZqMd.jpg
Experiment a bit, I think you are on the right track and I dig the live plants. I wish I had a room with some natural sunlight because I'd follow your lead on that!
Looking good buddy!

Welcome to the plant club!! Looks awesome.
i have not tried live plants yet but all my cages are full of fakes.
My cages are all a bit big now for them so I used the plants to “shrink” the cage.
Thanks for the idea to hang them after because like you I spent a bunch

And i added a vine to the 6 foot cages. Probably going to add another as well as another large potted plant but i ran out of money for the month on them lol. Rosey was relaxing on the bottom there. https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...f019fd25_h.jpg
