Question about THIS website!!

I'm having problems finding documentation on integrating vBulletin and vbPortal....

You need vBulletin installed first...correct? then what?

is it possible to transfer threads and usernames from phpBB to vBulletin?

there are quite a few conversion scripts out there you just have to find them. I converted my phpBB database to invision power board with no issues. Check the supporting forums/faqs for whatever DB format your tring to convert to.

now, If i want to change up the color scheme, do i add a style to vBulletin or add a style to vbPortal?

i have not use vbulletin but I believe what I am using is a deritive of it.

For most php/css message boards like this you apply the changes to the main forum settings...such as a new style or theme and you it will cary over to the portal page as well due to the CSS.

So in short apply the changes to your forum and the colors/themes will carry over to your portal.

I'm slowly but surely getting it figured out...btw...what hosting service does ball-pythons.net use?

That is a question for the admin/mod team here...I do my own hosting and offer it to those doing reptile related websites at a discount of the "normal" price I charge.
