I feed Jake 3 mice at a feeding. I offer the first, he eats it, I let him "yawn" and wait for him to actively move around the enclosure, then I offer the next. If he retreats to his hide, I stop there, but lately he's been wanting the third one. I fed one small rat last week, and he looked upset. The rat was quite a bit bigger than the mice (obviously), but he still looked all around the cage for another one. He was lookin a little inflated after the rat, so there was no way he was gettin a mouse too! :)
Little Piggy!! lol I should change his name to Cartman! He's not fat, he's just big bone-ded.

wow adam, I've never looked at it that way before... I wish there was a study on what's healthiest for a ball python though, because I only want her to be happy and healthy.. thanks for the advice :)

Am I feeding the right size? It is ok to offer a second mouse? She always seems to look for more afterwards. I am only feeding one mouse a week.

in my opinion, I'd stick with one mouse for now. How long is she exactly?

I feed her two mice a week, three if the petstore has little mice.

Thanks for the advice Mech. She just always seems to be wanting more, I wasn't sure to give more or not. Salina has eaten every 7 days like clock work since we got her. I didn't know if they would binge eat.
