    yep, looks super pastel to me. Most petsmarts' just label them as "fancy" ball pythons and have no idea what they are selling. Also, he can handle bigger prey - the store probably had him on rat pinkies / hopper mice or some other tiny prey item - you want something slightly smaller than the widest part of the snake (or 10% of his body weight if you are measuring). Rats are better than mice, and with food he'll plump up in to a big noodle in no time.

    We have him on fuzzies right now cause that's what they were using but we are going to move up to smalls. Thanks for all the info. We are noobs but love our noodle baby.
