thanks for sharing this (sorry, OP; quick hijack): i've been eyeing some CG combos of theirs, but my banana/CG girl was sold to me as a Coral Glow so i've been wanting Coral Glows specifically.

I sort of did, but it's not the most exciting- it's mostly me trying to find something to cut the zip tie with and then trying to calm down enough to tell if he was breathing. I might try to cut some of the more boring bits out and post it later.

Thank you!! I actually wasn't sure what the difference was, beyond that one often freckled and one did not. I was just going to be super scientific and see whether or not he ever freckled and go from there.

He was treated to some George Strait, Shinedown, Linda Eder, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, and Hank Williams, all at a volume low enough to keep the subwoofers from getting excited. :D
Pictures very shortly!

Re: He's on his way!
Well, unboxing was a bit of an ordeal for both of us. I kept having dreams about dead or dying snakes last night, so I was anxious, and he was stressed for obvious reasons. Once I ascertained he was indeed alive, I weighed him (271 grams!), and he tied himself in a knot. Picked him up to untangle him, and he just made himself more awkward. Then he decided he was just Done. With. All. Things, and didn't want to be held anymore, so I let him put himself away. He has continued to be a dork, and as you can see from the last picture, I don't think he's impressed by how his past two days have gone.

Haha, thank you! Isn't he a chunk?! Hopefully that means he's a chowhound and feeding won't be a problem.
It's a good thing I have a long work day so I don't just sit there and watch him all day, which I'm sure would not help. Once he gets warmed up and there's nothing for him to watch, I think he'll calm down.

Target! I think I paid $10.37 for two. They come in several different colors, these just happened to coordinate with his water dish. They're a bit too big to go around a 32 quart by themselves, so there needs to be something under them to make up for that space.
I was thinking maybe something in elvish, but he's such a dork, and so shy-yet-not-shy that I maaaay end up calling him Horatio (as in Horatio Hornblower). But there's still much name research to be done. :D
