Wow, you meanie !! LOL !!

I have to first drink a Guinness, then close one eye, squint with the other and turn my head sideways before he's nearly camouflaged :)

Beautiful snake, love the "granite" pattern the lower sides ..

The Chocolate gene is really a tough one, looks like a dark normal. But you'll know for sure if you breed it with a lighter normal and half the babies come out dark, then you know it's genetic. And when you cross two chocolates together you get a Super Chocolate, further proving it's genetic and co-dominate. But just to see one dark normal looking snake, for me it's really tough to tell.

The yellow and tan just doenst look right for the Chocolates that I have seen. Usually its more of a darker caramel color.

@cchardwick makes sense! Perhaps someday I'll have the time/money/desire to confirm [emoji846]

@PitOnTheProwl I see. Like in this new photo? Or even darker? This was one the owner sent me before I got her. I haven't taken good daylight photos yet https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0a44ba368c.jpg

I say she could be chocolate. Chocolate is a tough one especially beyond fresh hatch with a normal sibling for comparison. Sable is a gene pretty close to chocolate and I questioned that guess looking at the initial photo. Photos can be tricky though and a Sable ball photo in incorrect lighting can look like a normal with granite like markings.

The slight blushing along the spine. Normals don't usually have that. However she does look a lot like a normal. But the blushing is so slight you really have to look.

Thanks so much for the opinions everyone! It's certainly tough to see differences.
