    This snake would be a pet, I really don't care much about the accurateness of the colors. I just like carpets and that theres one near enough that I could check it out in person :D

    Like Deborah said, it depends on your goals.

    If it is just going to be a pet and you like it, go for it.

    Go cehck it out. Bring a paper towel with you or ask the guy for a damp paper towel and run the snake through it and see if you pick up any mites. Also you can physically check it there and also just slightly push up and a little forward on the bottom of the jaw and see if any goo oozes out showing it has an RI. Also check its overall condition like stuck shed, skinny, kinks and a nice dry sealed cloaca.

    But bottom line is if you like it and dont plan to breed it, then $200 sounds about normal. It's just like Pat is undocumented and i really dont care as i dont plan to breed him but he seems healthy as horse and eats like one too. For a pet, the health is the most important part over the genetics etc.
