    Hahahaha, certainly seems that way. I primarily advise that to newbies because they typically lack the experience to identify stress, illness or other issues. Getting husbandry and feeding down pat can be stressful enough for a lot of newbies. Compounding it by potentially stressing the snake just makes snake keeping seem more difficult than it is to new keepers. You see enough snakes on Craigslist already that are a year or younger because things didn't work out for the new snake keeper.
