Awesome enclosure! I need someone to design me a custom enclosure like that! ;)

I have to ask though, since I am totally naive on this subject (and use paper substrate for ease of cleanliness mostly).
Does the tank sustain itself? What do you have to clean and when?
Would be cool if you could answer because I am really curious and it looks so incredible.
Either way, nice work!
Isopods and springtails eat a lot of waste (poop) as well as sheds and dropped leaves. Spot cleaning may be necessary as the snake gets bigger though.

The main expenses were
the enclosure ~400
RHP -~100
Light ~120
Herpstat 2 195
Everything else was about 200.
The trial and error added a bit to that.

That's awesome.
So when the snake gets bigger you might have to spot clean replace substrate a little? Will you have to tear down the enclosure and disinfect etc. at any point?
Sorry for all the questions. It looks great and I am interested.

Gorgeous enclosure. I wish I had the money on hand to provide an enclosure like that! Im currently a part of the tub/paper towel substrate crew, and though cheap, it isnt nearly as pretty to look at! This is definitely a project for me in the future.

Yeah, I am also part of the paper substrate crew (printless newsprint in the correct size for my enclosures). I like it because it's easy and clean.
However, I am totally drooling over how beautiful and seemingly self sufficient this setup is!
Very nice. How did you mount it? Using screws? I'm about to have to buy some lighting for a rack setup with planted terrariums (metal shelves with exos) and am currently shopping for a suitable fixture. Lighting is so expensive lol.
That is a really good idea leaving the plants in pots.. That will make it very easy when you have to move them or change stuff out.

I may have to a little, but from what I hear, the cleanup crews can be pretty efficient.
