I'm hesitant to "recommend" anything...without the Vet being on board. With the snake so critically ill...it would be best you took it to the Vet and let the Vet decide what to do.

"If" the Vet says to start some treatment now to get him through until the culture comes in, I would go with that. I would want something that kicks in fast, with the least amount of stress. I suppose the Antibiotic would be the most effective in an emergency. Not sure how much the "lung wash" would help, or if that could wait until after the culture, if the result of the culture warrants that treatment.

With your snake so severely ill, it is really difficult to give advise over the internet.

Perhaps the Vet will have a better idea whether the snake needs treatment NOW once he sees the snake in person...

You can only see how bad your snake is so If its as bad as you say id do whatever i could for tonight and get to the Vet Asap. Last week my friends snake died from a bad Respiratory infection that the snake only had for a couple weeks. He went away for work and returned to find the snake very weak with mucous all over its mouth. He called the vet and made a appointment for the next day. The snake had its head cocked up trying to breath and it sounded like fluid in its lungs. It died during the night before the vet.
I myself would use the Nebulizer or anything I had on hand to help the snake survive until your appointment. ..

    Hello to all,

Thank god, snake is still alive and I hope its better today. I saw him drink yesterday. Today I was at vet where I got antibiotics before I get full viral results (for now I know approx. 50 percent and its negative). Just for now she gave me Baytril, vitamins and ACC for dissolving the mucus.

    Im holding my finders...

    News
So I have some news. His RI has improved. He's relatively active and is interested in the surroundings.
I still give him Enrofloxacinum on daily base.

A big problem is in the meal. He doesn't eat. He is underweight, not much but it's.
Unfortunately, we're still in a state where I'm afraid if he survives (But he didn't eat before the disease).

There are good and bad news.. I hope i will be better in future.

If he's been getting injections he's probably stressed, which will throw him off food.
