If they make any sudden movements he is back to hiding.
I'm assuming 90 on the hot side and 77 on the cool, otherwise that's a huge fluctuation in temps. Are your hides snug? They like snug hides, your snake isn't going to feel secure in huge hides. And you may want to look into downsizing your enclosure too.

I assume you mean ruin it by Sticking and unstick the UTH? If that was what your saying in the future dont stick the UTH to the tanks/tubs. Use Metal tape (the kind for heating ducts) and tape the back of the Sticky UTH (sticky tape to sticky UTH). Then Tape the UTH thats has the foil metal tape on it to the tank with more Metal Tape. When you want to move it you just untape it from the current setup and retape it to the next. You can also use Tin Foil on the back of the UTH too but that isnt as durable I dont think as the metal tape and you use the Metal tape anyway to stick it to the tank so......

I honestly didn't know you could do this. Thanks for the tip.
Here's two more photos of his enclosure. He always seems to be climbing or around the doors. The cool side is on the left with the new hide I've added. He has shown zero interest, he was in them maybe once. Is he just adjusting again? I try not to bother him unless I'm misting or changing the water.

Have you tried just leaving the f/t mouse in the tank for a bit? My new girl won’t take it from me dangling it, but if I leave it on the floor of her tub and check back in an hour it’s gone. She’s a shy eater. Also make sure you’re offering at night - leaving the lights off helps.

Thanks, I'll give this a try when I try feeding at the end of the week. I usually leave it and he won't touch it, but I'll try dancing it around more with the lights off (I usually have a side lamp on).
