Worth trying to warm the mouse well with a hairdryer then INSTANTLY dangling it in front of the hide entrance. They rarely refuse this way ..

We brought home our 2017 Banana Pastel boi in late October. When he is getting hungry, he usually sticks his head out of his hide whenever he detects activity in the area. We normally feed late in the evening. When it's time to feed, we heat up our f/t as others have advised, my daughter will lightly tap on his enclosure once or twice to let him know she's coming and then she grabs the rat in her tongs and moves it in front of his hide. There is no need for an elaborate zombie dance with our boi. Without fail, he strikes and coils immediately. Usually, he swallows his prey outside of his hide. Last night was the first time he dragged his prey into this hide (no doubt because he moved up to the medium RBI hide a few weeks ago).

In the last three months he has grown from 140 grams to 370 grams.

    Good luck with your noodle.
