    For humidity in my vivs, I use an internal low-flow cooling fan for circulation of air quality, and a cooling element that dampens the humidity. The fan brings in fresh air from the outside of the vivs, lowers humidity to a managable level, and and cools the tank. Humidity stays between 61%-65 all day with a slight vertical humidity gradient, about 2 mist pumps can elevate it easily to 70% easily for shedding if necessary.

    You didn't mention what you are using for substrate. Depending upon what you are using, a change in substrate might lower your humidity.
