    That electric run oil Heater explained above is the best this time of year for a room or Small apartment.. Your lucky to see $10 a month difference. When spring comes and buildings heat up from the Sun and start to hold the heat you can shut it down... Ive used mine on LOW and it made the enclosure 75-78 degrees 24/7.

    I went to Lowe's today and purchased the oil filter heater. Just plugged it in and looking forward to trying it!
    Thanks for the suggestion and help. As a kid I have always had an interest in snakes. I used to have a corn snake which was enjoyable. But I find ball pythons so much more enjoyable to interact with and care for. It's completely re sparked my great interest in snakes. :O
    It definitely seems like a super nice heater. I am going to be keeping an eye on the temps of her enclosure. Currently it is about 4 feet away from her tub and I am starting at 72 degrees. and I will adjust accordingly to what my temp gun is saying to try to get it to be 75-80 degrees.
