Yawning question

My big girl is two years old and she will yawn 3 of 4 times threw out the day and nothing is wrong with her she is healthy as can be I think it just something that beeps do. I know she will yawn after she has been resting her head for hours. My beep will also squeak if she wants me to hold her because she knows I will go running to get her out to make sure she is ok...[emoji38] My husband laughs at me when it happens and then calls me a sucker...[emoji178]

It's not normal for ball pythons to squeak. That means she is displaying early symptoms of an RI or has a piece of stuck shed over her nose. Either way I would keep a close eye on her.

The first time she did it I freaked out and took her to the vet and she did it at the vet and she told me that she is trying to get my attention.

Are you serious? That vet obviously knows absolutely nothing about snakes. Don't go there ever again.

Vets are notorious for not knowing much about snakes. I assure you that snakes do not ask for attention.

I think it's worth pointing out that snakes don't bond with us the same way mammals do. It's wishful thinking but they don't want attention or ask to be held like cats or dogs. Granted it can be easy to anthropomorphize them and apply those characteristics bc they are so dang cute and lovable, but the scientific truth is that they don't go out of their way asking for affection. They just don't have the brain chemistry for it :(

also I agree with godzilla and Kira that your vet don't sound very knowledable.
