    Re: Rat/mouse nutrition question
Would you kind and generous folks object to maybe posting some of your fave mixes here? :please: (I'm not sure I'd remember all the great advice and food products y'all have listed.  ) I wouldn't be opposed to mixing all the goodies together in bulk and then just feeding it that way....especially since I want to start a colony. Right now, w/only one (maybe 2) it's still slower, but not TOO much of time consumption to pour some rat mix in, give them a couple of grapes, celery and some salad mix, but I KNOW that if I start breeding them, that will get REALLY OLD, REALLY quick!!! I need something much faster, w/o sacrificing their health & quality as foodstuffs.

    Thanks heaps!!!

Wow, your rats are all spoiled compared to mine; they just get lab blocks. At $20 for 50 pounds, they're great. All in one, no mixing or measuring; I just toss a few blocks into each cage in the Am and then again before bed.
I do supplement sometimes; throw a live feeder goldfish into your rat cage. It'll be devoured in seconds!
