The two normals aren't cohabited, are they? If so they need their own separate enclosures.

I bought them together and they don't like to be separated from each other so I figured it'd be ok. Is this not safe?

I'm curious how you know they don't like to be separated???

BPs are solitary animals, they should be housed separately.

Best scenario you end up with eggs eventually. Worst scenario one of them eats the other and one or both of them die.

Every time I've separated them, they constantly try to get back together and they spend 90% of their day balled up together. They both seem to be protective of one another and don't seem to like it when the other is handled

I'd definitely like it if they made babies but I definitely don't want to risk losing either one so I guess I'll just have to deal with them being mad at me and separate them [emoji852]

I appreciate the info. I bought them as babies from a guy on Craigslist that was scared to death of them. I got both snakes, cage, water dish, heat lamp, and a big stone for $100. I assume they came from the same clutch but I don't know for sure. I kinda think they might have been stolen because both the guy and his gf were both terrified of them. I've been wanting to convert my den into my reptile room and make them all a nice enclosure so I guess I'll be making them separate ones. I definitely don't want them to get hurt or worse. I'm glad I joined this forum before it was to late.
