Very well said elleon. It just bewilders me though how glorified dirt can be worshipped so highly and reptile carpet can be damned. So much so it is one of the sticky notes in The Gospel of BP Husbandry ( and blessed by a super moderator).

Oh I can find it in dozens of other posts describing it nothing short of a mortal sin. Right next to the other mortal sins of dial thermometers, not owning a temp gun, not feeding rats, and the best for last.....not having a hydrometer. Everytime I see hydrometer instead of hygrometer I realize my opinions will never matter let alone make it into The Gospel or BP Husbandry. I try to discuss snakes while others are trying to make beer.
