    I know you asked not to hear it but all signs say vet trip. Letting a jaw problem go unattended can only lead to something terrible. It's better to waste a vet trip to be told it's a stuck piece of substrate than not go and end up with a full blown abscess and surgery.

    unfortunately this is looking like the best option in the interest of the animal, sorry OP. :(
