    ur kidding me really u think so too i mean i never get these things right and then i speak my mind and im like completely wrong maybe this means that im getting beter at this herping thing (btw its exactly a year today since i got monty)

    Thanks for all your replies and ideas everyone - sorry for being so late responding but my computer freaked and it's only the second day I've been able to access one.

    Well, she still does the excessive-soaking kinda thingy from time to time - her temps are great and she's got about 4 hides and loads of greenery up one end and the scrunched up balls of paper dotted about. So I took her to our reptile specialist and he confirmed "no mites". But she is about to shed and her skin has gone into pre-shed mode so as there was the odd bit of old shed left from last time maybe she's taking extra care :cool: like we her human slaves are of her.

    well just for a warning, oversoaking isnt healthy for the snake (causes scale rot or some or other). hopefully its just a shed thing. good luck!
