Soaking good or bad??

I don't soak often, but if my BP gets gross-ified by laying in poop or she has a pee in her favourite hide in the middle of the night then I give her a bath. She seems to like the water though, so I don't think it stresses her out usually. I have put her in the bath with a small amount of warm water and she enjoyed exploring around and swimming. With that being said, I am not recommending this and it could just be that certain snakes don't mind. Nor do I do this often (less than once every couple months).

Well in my experience - if you spray the vivs a few times , each day AFTER their eyes clear up / they get the colour back then you'll get a perfect shed every time ...

I've only soaked during a poor shed. I think those people heard horror stories of drowned snakes. It has happened but that was because the people didn't observe the snake the whole time

If you have a bad shed or a stuck shed in a bad place, soaking is one of the easiest things to get that taken care of. I would never soak or bathe my BP outside of that for any reason. They just are not aquatic snakes.
