    2 best turkeys I ever had were 1. Brined and roasted and 2. Deep fried. The fried one was very juicy and moist... I hate dry turkey.

    I'm seriously considering purchasing a turkey after thanksgiving to attempt to cook (when they're on sale). I've never cooked turkey myself, but don't want to screw up the meat for a big occasion.

    Agreed! I enjoy mine off my Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker.

    That said, I'm not a big fan of turkey in general. Thanksgiving (and the days following) is the only time I really eat it unless it's ground up.

    i would love to try grilled turkey! that sounds amazing. i think my family usually does smoked and then oven baked. i've never cooked a turkey myself, mind you, and honestly it kind of intimidates me. maybe when the bff and i move into a bigger place.
