If your house/snake room is in the 75-80 degree range then you'll be fine with almost any North American species. There is more to it than simply, they don't need heat however. With lower temps you shouldn't be feeding as often as standard recommendations you'll often see, so for babies it's once every 7 days, for yearlings 10 days, adults 14 days. I keep my snakes with a tighter gradient and a lower peak temp than most do (78-83 degrees F, with occasional night time drops) and there are some things to remember in addition to feeding schedule. When you keep snakes at lower temps like that you can't be spraying them with water all the time like some people have a tendency to do, with that said less dependency on ambient humidity makes water changes that much more important, hydration is always more important than humidity with snakes.
I will say this, I still have heating devices on all of my enclosures just to make sure they don't get too low in the event of a cold night I forget to turn on the furnace or something which is usually only a problem during this time of year when the temp will randomly be 75 outside but then drop into the 30's outside here in Ohio. I don't know what kind of climate you live in so that is something to keep in mind.
