Ugh, being on a site like this, I see all of these fancy fancy setups and acronyms and stuff like that, and I want it all, but baby steps I guess????

I probably will end up doing a rack set up, it seems like the most convenient, and although I don't plan on keeping the two males that I have, I will most likely acquire others in the future.
I'm not really sure how to set up a rack though, like I know that you use tubs, and of course a rack, but what should I use as a heating element to heat all three enclosures?
What is the best way to incorporate this into the three tubs?

I can do the rack fairly quickly, I just need to know the best way to make it the most efficient.

There are quite a few people from TN around here.:cool:

Why would you give a snake anything other than fiji water?

Don't worry about fancy setups. Those take time to get. I waited 7 years before finally getting my current enclosure so don't feel you are in a rush. You can get some inexpensive tub setups right now that will work for months and will be perfect for husbandry.

There are several companies that make excellent racks so take your time to read up on them to find the one that looks best for you.

    Animal Plastics
    Boaphile
    Reptile Basics
    TGR Rack Systems
    CSerpents

those are some popular vendors that make excellent racks. There are DIY options as well and the DIY and cage forums here have a ton of resources for your reading pleasure. Lots of people on here are really ingenious in how they make racks so I am sure you can get some solid advice.

I really appreciate all of the support. :worship:
Nothing is more reassuring than when you ask questions and people don't criticize and act better than you because they've been doing it longer.
I definitely will keep everyone updated on the progress on my setup and my little critters.

    Thank you so much!:):)

We all started somewhere. Nothing wrong with asking for advice. For heating a rack i recommend heat tape. You can buy it by the foot.
