Hahaha, yeah that's definitely nightmarish. But at least he didn't poop in the pillowcase and end up with it everywhere?

Lost power for 14 hours during a high-wind freeze!
We didn’t have snakes at the time, but were without power for 4-5 days after Hurricane Sandy dumped 3 feet of snow in less than 24 hours on us. We have one of the Mr Buddy heaters you can run inside and used it. It was 20-30 degrees outside and never went below 55 on our wall thermometer. Nearer to it I’m sure was warmer. We never had any issues with fumes. (I am chemical sensitive, so I think we would have noticed) Thankfully we now have a generator (sandy and a storm 4 months prior to that and no power for 5 days then made it a definite purchase). I’m glad I didn’t have snakes, but I couldn’t sleep with the 2 tank fulls of fish I lost [emoji20] I’m glad you were able to keep your snakes warm [emoji4]

Update. four days after the big freeze night, cleaned all cages and feeding night! Raggy is still in his seasonal fast (no surprise there), Flame ate a small, ALMOST MEDIUM rat! That is huge for her, she is my BEST FEEDER RESPONSE by far and growing like a weed. Chuck ate a really small rat fuzzy, I tried to feed Snappy a big rat fuzzy, but he refused (still wants live mice only, no surprise there either), so I dangled it in front of Chuck and he took it! Chuck is growing fast too, so proud of him!, he has been eating frozen/thawed consistently, ever since I got him from J. Kobylka where he was eating live rat fuzzies. Tonight he ate TWO rat fuzzies, time to switch him to rat pups. Such a Karate champion!:trophy:
Now it is time to feed Godzilla, she was really fat when I bought her, and she has since lost weight on her new diet (small rats). She hasn't pooped at all in 3 months, so I think her diet is over and I will bump her back up to medium rats, tonight I will feed her a small rat again, as I am out of mediums.

Point of the story, ALL SNAKES SURVIVED THE COLD SNAP AND ARE BACK ON FEEDNG SCHEDULE!:sunny::taz:
