    Re: Another Non Eating BP
i've had two seperate bp's fast for 8 months + on 3 occassions. my one boy fasted for the last two winters and the other one fasted the winter before. they started fasting around sept/oct and started eating again around may. it used to make me frightened but now i'm so used to it and they always turn out fine. they'll eat when they are hungry.
pj, the younger of the two is 5 and still will only eat live mice. i've had him as a hatchling and have tried every trick i've heard of to try to switch to him to rats and/or f/t and he just won't. he loves his 4-5 mice at a shot and thats it.
if i had known they were so damn picky i would have bought adults as i was quite the novice when i bought them.
    good luck,

Thanks for everyone's replies. I tried again tonight and he still won't eat. I'm not freaked out about it anymore cause he still isn't losing any weight. Instead of trying once a week, should I start trying every 2 weeks now??

    Thanks,
    Shawn
