He's at the correct size now, as said above, some males are just smaller.

Don't try to feed him bigger prey, that won't really make him grow but instead will make him fat.

my picky 3-year-old male just hit 900g. all snakes are different and grow at their own rate.

he looks perfect. you've done a great job. [emoji3]

I have a normal as well. They are absolutely sinning in their own way imo. I'm gonna be getting another snake soon myself, but it won't be a ball python. I'm researching on getting a Boa. [emoji6]

A boa will be my next snake, too! Either Suriname or Guyana

I just settled on Suriname after spending a whole day practically screaming "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHOOSE JUST ONE?!" The SunGlow BCIs sure are GORGEOUS though it you'd be interested in that.

I actually have a family friend that is planning on breeding their sunglows so I'll definitely being getting one in the future ☺️ I'm probably going to go with a Suriname for my next snake, they are just so beautiful

Mine's about 38" 800gish, was more like 34" and 600gish when I got him as a 2 yr old. I've probably been feeding him more/more fatty food than the breeder did, since he was skipping feeding weeks in that situation. Just did a skip for me a week or two ago. Males can just be weird like that.

According to this, i should be feeding my female a medium rat(as she is over 1400g) and my male a small rat( as he is over 800g). I currently feed my female a small rat and this will the first time feeding my male and i would have gone with large weiner...maybe. Thanks for this chart. It will help me alot.
