    Perhaps not for snakes, but maybe there are lizard species for which they're promoting the use of the heat pad without a thermostat. I personally wouldn't trust it no matter what I was heating.

    I think so :) I'll mesure the tub when I get home and do some window shopping on Reptile Basics and other sites :D I think I finally have my mom turned on tubs, with one of the leading factors being that they arnt $200+ lol I was going to go with a PVC cage but I really like tubs for some reason
