Hey now, just remember all that rudeness will come back to bite you in the butt when you're in my position! So nah! ;) :P (at least that's what I'm supposed to say) You've been mighty feisty here the last couple days! Have you been eating your wheaties or something?

Ah ... ants in the pants syndrome! I've very familiar with that. Seeing as how I have to wait a month for my new babies!!! grrrrr Have you made a decision on the anaconda yet?

I think I will buy her.

Only reason why not is if my mom balks. But.. honestly, she used to hate snakes. Now I have a 6' boa, she has a corn that she LOVES.. and she even touched my tarantula! I don't think it'll be a problem.

I'm saving all the money I can to take to this show. Who knows what else I'll come home with. What fun!

Oh congrats! Sounds like you will definitely have a full house there. I love to look at the big snakes, but that's as far as I get. I can't wait to see pictures. :D Do you have anything else in mind or just gonna see what $ you have left and what's there?

I'd like to get a male hogg island boa.. preferably larger since my female is breeding size.

I want a male normal cali king.. maybe a couple female stripe/albino stripe.

Maybe dumerils boas.. suriname BCC.. black blood.. another female blood.. hypo roughscale male.. flame race kenyan sand boas.. male mexican black king.. sunglow motley corn....

    Ahem.

Good gravy.....That's some list! WoW! Looks like you have the next several years paychecks spent and then some. I would like to get another snake that would be better suited to my kids. Something small and not shy, any suggestions?

Oh, that's only a small fraction of my want list. :D

Small and not shy.. kenyan sand boas. They rock. Beautiful, adorable, calm.
    Corn snake.. staple beginner's snake.

What about the children's python? Corns would probably be a good idea. I just want something that's not jittery when the kids handle it. kenyan sand boas hmmmm I'll have to look into that one, thanx. Good heavens that list goes on. Well I guess if I had room and the money I would have a pretty good size list too, not to mention the hubby approval. *sigh*

My kids are saving up for Nelson's Milksnakes Christie. From all I've heard they are a lovely snake for a young beginning owner and personally I find them stunning, both normals and the albino's. Here's a few pics. There seems to be a lot of decent breeders out there that have them. My son wants a normal male het for albino, my daughter wants an albino. They seem very reasonably priced as well.

The thin yellow stripe in the white stripe of the albino seems more pronounced as a hatchling and then fades in their adult years (or so it seems)

I think in my favorites I have a bunch of breeders listed somewhere.
