Temp gun would also be helpful in dialing in temps, alot quicker to read temps and more accurate.

Keep an eye out for mites. That's my only advice buying from underground reptiles.

Seconding getting a temp gun! As an alternative to Reptile basics, you can find them on amazon for relatively cheap but still super reliable!
