I have pvc cages and all have flexwatt for undertank heat and all except one have radiant heat panels. Also have a room heater for the winter, heat to about 80 and run hot spots for those who need it. I like options. My iguana cage has a CHE but think I'm going to pick up a RHP for that this year too for better control.

25 Watts heat cable and normal ceramic tiles to cover it. The heat cable stay on 12 hours during the day and off during the night and only on one side of the wooden enclosure.

It's just my $0.02, but I run RHP's in my Animal Plastics T8's and I don't use belly heat of any kind.....this was the recommendation directly from Pro-Products.

    It can't hurt however.

Right now, a UTH with a thermostat, on a tub.
I'm switching over to just a CHE controlled by a thermostat since it provides a much better and natural heat gradient rather than just one hot spot in his cage.

I keep my snake room at 80-81 all the time and use UTH on thermostats.
