Only time he was spending more time in the hot was when his overall ambient was a little too low for his tastes. Got it where he likes it now.

Thank you so much I will update about Marcel on Sunday his feeding day.

Why move him out to 'spot' clean ??
I do that in the daytime when they're asleep and don't even notice tbh

Beautiful baby you got there, congratulations :)

I agree with Zincubus on the substrate. Esp. in a glass enclosure you need all the help you can get with humidity. The coco and bark substrates help so much when it comes to adding humidity. And they will not mold after some misting.

Just a recommendation. "Black out" the back and sides of the tank, and most of the top. Your baby will feel so much safer and not so "exposed". You will still see him just fine from the front :)

As long as you provide the correct heat and humidity, don't worry about where he hangs out. He will figure it out. As long as he has hides and isn't so exposed, he will choose what feels good to him.

As for husbandry, most of it you can do with the snake in the tank. Most don't mind much. Just move him to the opposite end.
