    I would refer to *others* as the experts. "The conensus on the on-line forums seems to be...," or The breeder I got my snake from states that you can get better results if..." or, "My vet told me...."

    That *might* improve the odds that someone will listen.

    If the breeder is having success with a certain method it might be worth considering its validity. It never good to shock a new reptile's system with entirely different temps/humidity/setup.
