Thank you everyone for your good wishes and input, she told me she has seen much worse burns and gave me antibiotics and instructions on how to inject her properly she also gave me silver sulfadiazine which I have heard is a life saver. The only questionable thing she gave me was metacam for the pain. She gave her one dose by the mouth to show me how and gave me 5 doses which she told me to administer every other day. Does anyone have any knowledge of its side effects in snakes? I don't doubt it works I'm just wondering if it's safe enough for use in reptiles. But other than all that she said Banana (our snake) looked pretty active and healthy so she's optimistic in her recovery. She said if sepsis has started to set in she does not believe it has injured her kidneys or liver yet so that made me feel better. Just keep sending good vibes her way! I'll keep you guys updated as much as possible I really appreciate the help thanks again!

Metacam is safe when dosed properly. I use it for a lot of my rescues and haven't had an issue.

Glad to know she'll be alright! :gj:

She appears to be doing very well, the cream works wonders. She just received her second dose of the antibiotics. I believe it's called Tazicef. It was our first time doing it at home and she barley flinched, her first one at the vet seemed to be a lot more painful for her so I think the Metacam has something to do with it. We usually feed her small rats but decided to get a few large mice so she will take it more readily. I'm gonna feed her tonight. So far so good, I'll keep everyone updated.
