When I look at a fire what I see is a tan normal. There are no true blacks. Specials are similar but a shade darker with a little more yellow. I actually have to pay attention to tell my special apart from my fire. They are the exact same size and body conformation. When I make a mistake I know quick because my fire bites. LOL
