Several years into proving out a potential new gene "AB", input appreciated!

The "normal" from both clutches look not quite normal to me. Of course that could always be due to the random variation of Balls. I would think breeding either of those two back to mom(if male) would be the way to go. For sure the solo one from the second clutch. Otherwise like I said earlier pair with a normal and breed one of the males back. One that would appear to have something going on. This whole process would likely have been easier if she were a male.

In original post you can see them in one picture together with their mother (strange normal) and father (son of strange normal, an Enchi Lesser).
At this time they are one year old and around 800g.

Unless I am reading this whole thing wrong....

I do not believe the original sire was Enchi Lesser. I think it was Enchi Mojave. That said there is something going on. The picture of the "normal" offspring, i don't believe is a normal. The top 2 pictures posted above are showing something, that I believe to be Mojave + something. You have to get the enchi out of the equation. I would not go back to the father. I would take the father of these to a normal, and then next year take one of the new girls back to a normal.

Father is without a doubt an Enchi Lesser - his mother is the strange normal and his father is an Enchi Lesser that sired over 20 clutches for me so I know for a fact that he is an Enchi Lesser (not Mojave). Mojave-looking-pattern on one of the girls has nothing to do with morph Mojave. It does however, in my opinion, look very similar to pattern on her mom, the strange normal.

That is very interesting if you are that sure. I have about 50 BEL complex animals right now and the one I am questioning looks a lot like some of my mojaves. I am very interested in something that looks like a mojave but is not. Please keep us updated. I would breed that one back to a male super mojave to see what flavor of white snake pops out.

I have a similar female in my collection as your female. She is on the darker side and has the same dorsal patterning as yours.
