I've just gotten my first bioactive setup going for one of my rat snakes. In a few months it'll be literally only water dish duties.

Re: How Long do you spend on maintenance Daily?
You might consider the bioactive thing if maintenance is getting to be too much.

I only have 1 reptile, so daily is just checking temps and humidity and checking hides for stool/urates. I change water every other day and clean the bowl every other water change. Once a month I deep clean the whole enclosure and soak the hides and rocks in disinfectant and completely change the mulch (that takes about an hour all told).

Well not sure about the question and it really depends on how many snakes you have. I saw a video of a breeder who had 700 snakes, both adults and hatchlings. He said it took him 11 hours per week to clean, feed, and maintain them all. I used to have my snakes in glass aquariums, when I moved to a rack system the labor went down to almost nothing. Same with my rats, I can have hundreds of rats in my rack and it takes me about 2 hours per week to clean them, about two minutes per week to feed and water all of them LOL. I spray and spot clean 20 tubs twice a week and feed once or twice a week, usually takes me about an hour or two for 20 tubs, but I like to take some snakes out and handle them a bit too. I change Repichip about every six weeks, that usually takes 2-3 hours or so.

i have 103 reptiles, and it takes me 2+ hrs to check them all, plus clean whatever tubs need cleaning. i also don't exactly rush through it either.

With my 7 snakes, I don't have daily maintenance. I just check on their temps and water bowls every couple days. Once every couple weeks-ish, I feed them. They all have different feeding schedules. I spot clean every few days to weeks.

I look at them every day though and handle whenever I feel like it! The best part about snakes, they're so low-maintenance. :D

Just over 100 snakes with 10 being retics so it involves a few hours each day. Cleaning and disinfecting one messy retic enclosure is 20-30 minutes on its own.
