Okay Adam, how much did you pay Ken to say these things? ;) I agree, though. Adam is the man. Now when can I get my Fireballs?

Be careful what you believe, everyone has an agenda to sell their snakes. Even me!! ... Do lots and lots and lots of research before you invest, buy what you love, and you can't go wrong!

Hmm... I was wondering about the red pupil, but it seemed to show up on every picture that gets posted. So are you saying it's like the red eyes that show up in people with direct flashes? Bummer. BTW, are the leucistic genes for the different hets completely different? What would one get if they mixed two blue-eyed snakes from a mojave and a lesser or a blue-eyed and a black-eyed leucistic? I guess the only way to find out is for someone to actually breed them.

I think he was talking about what I said AFTER the link to the other site. (Mainly just showing that I wasn't really trying to promote the other site, as I would always refer you just from the impression that I have with "dealing" with you through email.) :)

Well, I think that there is probably some element of red in the eye that is visible under strong lighting, but when you're in a normally lit room, you'd be hard pressed to see any red in the eyeball. At least that's been the case with the black eyed lucies that I've seen in person.
Mojave x Lesser breedings do make lucy's, but they have a yellow spinal stripe and yellow smudges behind the eyes ... Time will tell what a Mojave x Lesser lucy crossed with a Lesser x Lesser lucy will do. At this time, I don't think that there are many people that believe a black eyed lucy will be compatible with blue eyed lucy, but again .... time will tell.

I really do like the Blue eyed lucys. So which is the most effective pair for a Blue Eyed Lucy?

Lessers and Platties produce the cleanest (ie. whitest) blue eyed lucys to date.

He sure does! ... They're called Lemon somethings I think? The Lucy on Vins table in Daytona has similar yellow markings to the mojave x lesser and phantom x lesser cross, although Greg Graziani produced a lemon x mojave lucy this year that has a little less yellow. I'm excited to see what Vin's line of Lucy does when crossed with a Lesser ... should be much hotter than the mojave cross!
